Legend says that Biel was known in the past for its lavender perfumes and fragrances, since there were many locals who grew lavender to later boil in a still and extract the fragrance and perfume. This allowed them to earn extra money for their economy based on agriculture and livestock. Trail of Legend is one of the two trails you can do outside Biel. The route starts in the car park of Pozo Tronco, in the heart of the protected mountain range Sierra de Santo Domingo.
