Today we will get into one of the wildest areas of Southern Pyrenees, visiting some of the most beautiful uninhabited villages of Nocito Valley as well as the deep Mascún Canyon, one of the most spectacular ravines of Sierra de Guara.
We leave Nocito through a series of beautiful paths that will take us to the villages of Bentué de Nocito, Used and Bara. On the way, the imposing view of Tozal de Guara, the waterfalls and the pristine waters of the ravine, as well as the ancient buildings that we’ll find, will often make us stop.
From Bara we’ll ascend to Nasarre and its nice Romanesque church. Then, we continue towards Losa de la Mora Dolmen, built 5.000 years ago. From there, another rocky trail descends through Andrebot ravine surrounded by limestone walls.
The beautiful caves and massive walls on the bottom of Mascún Canyon are amazing and often crowded by numerous climbers. After passing by the hollow known as El Delfín, we ascend to Rodellar, a pretty village nestled on a rocky outcrop often visited by outdoor enthusiasts.
