Beautiful and relaxed stage to discover the soul of Somontano de Barbastro. We'll ride on a series of beautiful crop and olive tree fields passing by the towns of Radiquero, Albertuela de la Liena, Adahuesca and Bierge and its beautiful surroundings.
Today we’ll ride on the foothills of Sierra de Guara. The route starts from San Antón hermitage, next to the roundabout access to Alquézar. From there, we will follow the road up until we reach a gravel road on the left leading to Radiquero. We will cross the village and descend to the main road passing besides a fountain. Besides a nearby shelter, we’ll take a gravel road on the right leading to Alberuela de la Liena. Pay attention to your GPS device. At a crossroads in the surroundings of Alberuela, we must go straight and after following the road to the left for a few meters we should go right getting into a gravel road. Following a series of MTB signs we’ll reach Adahuesca from where we’ll continue towards Ermita de Treviño. Cross the main road and follow the signs to the hermitage. At some point, turn left. Do the way back to the crossroads and take the left road leading towards Abiego. Trail crosses the road a couple of times before starting the descent to the “old bridge”/puente viejo and the way up to San Pedro de Verona hermitage from where we’ll head towards Bierge. Our horses can stay at Bierge Riding Club / Hípica Bierge.
Refreshment:
We'll find refreshment in Adahuesca where we'll be able to eat and drink. There are a few spots to eat/drink on the way.
